INR: MARCH 2021 QUARTERLY ACTIVITIES REPORT
April 26th, 2021

A$80 million fully underwritten institutional placement completed with strong demand from new and existing institutional investors, including large US and European investment groups.

Proceeds provide funding to accelerate the development of Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron Project in Nevada.

Battery grade lithium hydroxide successfully produced from Rhyolite Ridge pilot plant feedstock with resultant product specifications provided to potential offtake partners.

Discussions progressing well on offtake agreements for various lithium products with first lithium offtake announcement expected in June quarter.

INR: IONEER COMPLETES A$80 MILLION PLACEMENT

Fully underwritten institutional placement received firm commitments to raise A$80 million to assist in accelerating construction of the 100% owned Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron Project in Nevada, USA.

Institutional placement upsized by A$20million due to overwhelming demand that saw the placement significantly oversubscribed.

Strong demand from existing and new investors, including high-quality international and domestic institutions.

BNP Paribas Energy Transition Fund, a European ESG-focused institution, to build on their existing shareholding.

ioneer now well positioned to execute on project advancement at Rhyolite Ridge over the course of 2021, including finalisation of various offtake discussions and completion of strategic funding discussions



INR: IONEER AND CATERPILLAR SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
February 16th, 2021

ioneer and Caterpillar complete joint automation study detailing the apparent benefits for early adoption of a Cat® Command for hauling, Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) at Rhyolite Ridge for improved operator safety, equipment utilization and site productivity.

With the study complete and Rhyolite Ridge appears to be a very favourable candldate for AHS, ioneer and Caterpillar have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to move the initiative forward.

Fully integrated mining automation systems offer unprecedented improvements in operator safety, equipment utilization, and site productivity.

The Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron Proiect will be the first greenfield operation in North America to utilize AHS.

In October 2020, ioneer announced that it had selected Caterpillar as the exclusive heavy equipment partner for its Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron Project in Nevada.

ioneer Ltd, an emerging lithium-boron supplier, is pleased to announce the Plan of Operations for the Company’s Rhyolite Ridge Lithium-Boron Project in Nevada has been deemed complete and formally accepted by the Bureau of Land Management, marking a major milestone toward the completion of the National Environmental Policy Act process.



INR: JUNE 2020 QUARTERLY ACTIVITIES REPORT
July 20th, 2020

Rhyolite Ridge Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) delivered, showing compelling Project economics with an after-tax NPV of US$1.265 billion, and an unlevered, after tax internal rate of return (IRR) of 20.8%; DFS confirms plans for a large, long-life, low-cost operation with all-in sustaining cash cost of US$2,510 per metric tonne lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE), placing Rhyolite Ridge at the bottom of the global lithium cost curve.; Total Ore Reserve4 for Rhyolite Ridge increased 280% to 60.5 million metric tonnes (mt) over 26-year mine life. Project holds 0.6mt of lithium carbonate and 5.3mt of boric acid, with half the Ore Reserve classified as Proven.; Project Plan of Operations submitted to the United States Bureau of Land Management.; Key air and water quality permit applications completed and submitted to relevant US regulatory bodies.; Three-year boric acid Distribution and Sales Agreements signed with Kintamani Resources Pte Limited, and Boron Bazar Limited, covering critical additional territories in Asia. The new agreements, plus the binding Dalian Jinma offtake agreement, announced December 2019, places 100% of ioneer's first year of boric acid production, and more than 85% of boric acid production in years two and three.; Engineering work continuing with the aim of being 'shovel ready' and permitted by Q2 2021. Engineering design increasing from 30% (DFS level) to 50-80% complete (earthworks 100%).; Discussions progressing with a range of potential strategic funding partners for Rhyolite Ridge.; Experienced finance and investment manager Julian Babarczy joined the ioneer board as Non-Executive Director.
